Aerial Nightmare

A fleet of Harkonnen Carryalls and Imperial Frigates were surprised when a huge Atreides aerial attack took them down. Only a few Harkonnen units survive… for now. Both Atreides ground and aerial attack can destroy them at any moment.

On this single map the Atreides will use a very strong use of the “Airstrike” against the player. The room available to deploy the buildings it\’s big enough to minimize the damage they can do, and destroying enough ornithopters will reduce the Atreides aerial attacks the more you take down.

Can you survive with so many ornithopters harassing your base?

EBFD: Final Assault

A group of three maps, one per main faction, heavily inspired on the final mission from the Emperor, Battle for Dune game. The three maps are the same but the player can control Atreides, Harkonnen and Ordos, being given slightly different starting units and the enemy bases will also change slightly.

Story: The Emperor worm it’s about to awake. Kill him before it’s too late!

The design of the map, the enemy’s bases and events that happens during the game it’s taken directly from the Emperor game to be as close as the original possible, including an Emperor Worm (Construction Yard) that have much more Health than the traditional Construction Yard.

Note: To play this map it’s needed to overwrite with all the files provided. It will give to the enemies some new units, like a Contaminator that can kill infantry on 1 hit, the leecher and the Tleilaxu Turret. The player it’s given Fremen and Sardaukar with new requirements and also the Spacing guild will use two secret new units. without those changes, the game will end the first second you start the map.
Warning: overwriting the original game files with mine will overwrite the original values and you game will change forever. It is added the vanilla files as back up to recuperate the original state after you finish played the map.

The Emperor’s Plan

Following the plot from Dune 2 and 2000, the Emperor launched a challenge for the three houses to make them fight for control of Arrakis. However this is only a trick to bring the Atreides out of their planet and, together with the Ordos and Harkonnen, destroy the Atreides once for all.

But then the Emperor Shadam IV falls ill, and the plan begins to crumble. Can Lady Elara, his Imperial adviser, continue the plan that the Emperor had prepared?

No More Spice

A new gas created by the Ordos is affecting the metabolism of the Sandworms. They no longer generate spice. The Emperor has sent his army to destroy the Ordos, the gas and recover the natural cycle of Arrakis.

  • There isn’t any way to earn credits through harvesting.
  • 10,000 credits will be added to the player’s account every few minutes.
  • Fremen will aid with exploration.
  • Sardaukar and engineers reinforcements for free (required certain buildings).
  • Enemy silos full of spice to capture.
    Note: The Harverster is useless, but the refinery is still necessary to be able to build others buildings

Dune 2 Campaigns for Dune 2000

Three campaigns, one for every main house, featuring the core of the original Dune 2 while maintaining some rules from the Dune 2000 game as well.
Features:

  • Type of terrain based on the original Dune 2: Wide areas to move and attack, no rifts, mostly rock, sand, spice and dunes.
  • Spice limited; no blooms or way to get more money once all has been depleted.
  • Starting money, initial units, reinforcements and the configuration of the enemy base is heavily based in the original maps from Dune 2.
  • Briefing and advices extracted directly from Dune 2.
  • Voice and text “Enemy units approaching!” will warn players when an enemy carryall drops units around the base.
  • Overall is more easy with the Atreides and more harder with the Ordos.
  • The tech tree and weaponry is still the one from the Dune 2000 game: Troopers for Atreides, Trikes for Harkonnen…

IX Masters of Technology

Ix will join the fight for Arrakis Against the classic Atreides-Harkonnen-Ordos trio in a traditional type of campaign: from low tech to high tech. The player, controlling Ix, will have access to a better tech before the other factions. Also a new building called “Ixian Factory” will produce the three special vehicles. Lastly, the game (referenced in the briefing) have a new rule: you can’t crush infantry/troopers with your heavy vehicles, so shooting them is the only way. Check the “notes.txt” to read about all the changes done to the game.

Ordo’s Tactics

IX – The Technology is ours

PLOT: Ix have been researching strong weapons to Atreides, Ordos and Harkonnen. Now they are planning to use that weaponry to conquer Arrakis. The three of them, feared by that technology join their forces creating a base in common. _IMPORTANT: “Templates.bin” is required in order to give IX (the player) a new variant of a Combat Tank and a stronger Stealth Raider among other changes. A back_Up with the original templates is added to be able to recover the original state after playing the single mission.

Tleilaxu Campaign

Because of the fighting every faction were paying the spacing guild large
quantities of spice to transport units into the battle field, but now all of them
there are in a truce, resulting in the non-export of spice.

The Tleilaxu has offered themselves to intervene (arriving secretly to Arrakis) to
destroy every House, converting all the soldiers into Gholas (clones from dead people
who keep their memories and any skill or training they had when were still alive),
promising to restore the spice flow.

Based in the style of the game “Dune Emperor, the Battle for Dune”, this mission features: – A MCV in the sand needing the player to search an area to deploy it. – A subplot which the player may interfere (or not). – Periodical reinforcements for both player. – The enemy building a base on his own. Notes: Is included three version of the same mission. Easy, normal and hard (all should be played in “normal difficulty”). Easy will have less spawning enemies and more reinforcements for the player; in Hard is the opposite. Choose one depending of your own skill level.
